TAN Code generator and validator

These components can be used, to add additional security to your login screens. By requiring a validation code, which is sent via eMail (easily adaptable to SMS etc).

1. The user has to press a button, which sends him/her an eMail
2. The eMail contains a code, which has to be entered into the code field
3. Finally when the login button is clicked, the code is validated

The IP of the user is additionally used for validation.

It is recommended to activate a timer, which will periodically delete the unused codes. Even though every user can only have one valid code at a time, which is deleted once used.

When implementing the validation into your login logic; perform the code validation first. That way trying to get user/password right is not possible, without the code.
