[Question] How to ignore invalid remote certificates with a web service?
Question
I'm using 4.1, and I need to access a Web Service through SSL.

The problem is (judging from a message i got in the browser before when accessing the web service) their certificate is expired.

I get these messages in service center:

[1] The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel.
[2] The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.

I'm guessing that if I could just ignore the remote certificate when accessing the web service, it would all be fine.
I'll try to get the remote server to update the certificate but I'm curious about how one would solve the problem in case they don't.

Any help/advice would be greatly apreciated. Thanks in advance.

(And sorry if this is a newbie question, i'm just getting started with Outsystems)

Problem solved.

Solution:

Installed the certificate in the server in "Trusted Root Authorities", and called the web reference from the server instead of calling it from my own machine.
