The 1-Click Publish executes, in a single step, all the operations necessary to publish an extension in a Platform Server.

1-Click Publish Steps

The 1-Click Publish operation involves the following steps:

  1. Verify: Checks whether the extension is valid. For more information, see Verify the Extension.

  2. Update Source Code: Synchronizes the source code you added in the IDE with the definition of the extension elements. See Update the Extension Source Code.

  3. Compile: Generates the main dll and/or jar of the extension. See Compile the Extension.

  4. Save: Saves the extension and packs all the resources in an xif file.

  5. Upload: Uploads the Extension to the Platform Server you are connected to.

  6. Publish: Publishes the extension in the Platform Server you are connected to. This operation makes the extension available in this Platform Server.

To execute the 1-Click Publish you must follow the steps in the table below.

How to verify an extension:

  1. In the File menu or Toolbar, select 1-Click Publish .

This operation requires that you be connect to the server where the extension will be deployed and hosted. If you are not yet connected, Integration Studio automatically prompts you to select a server, after which it establishes the connection. See how to Select Server window.

1-Click Publish access rights

To publish a new extension, your OutSystems Platform user must have the Allow Extensions permission. If your extension exports entities, the Allow External Entities permission is also required. Check with the Service Center administrator for a list of your permissions.
