OutSystems Platform integrates with your existing databases. You can start developing applications without having to worry about data migration.

You can centrally manage connections to external databases in the environment management console.

On the environment management console, navigate to the Administration tab, and click 'Database Connections'.

To create a new database connection, click 'New Database Connection'.

Give a name and description to the database connection. Then, choose the database server you're integrating with.

If you want to create a connection with minimal configurations, choose 'Basic Configuration'. This creates a connection only with:

If you need to fine-tune the database connection, choose the 'Advanced Configuration' option. This allows you to define your own connection string.

Click the 'Test' button to check if the connection is working correctly, and then click the 'Save' button. Now you can use this connection in applications deployed on this environment.
