Service Studio 4.2 Help
Usability Suggestion Warning
The Usability Suggestion warning is issued in the following situations:
Image width is larger that the eSpace 'Mobile Web Target Screen Width' setting: you have a static Mobile Web Image widget whose size is bigger than the Mobile Web Target Screen Width eSpace property. This situation should be avoided since images are optimized, by Service Studio, to fit within the value of this eSpace property.
Depending on your requirements, do one of the following: edit the Mobile Web Image widget and set the Width property to a smaller value; or increase the value of the Mobile Web Target Screen Width eSpace property. Learn more about the Width of Mobile Web static images.
If the actual message has more than 160 characters, 'Phone Slot' will be ignored: you have a Send Message element, in your eSpace, whose maximum length is bigger than 160 characters, and with the phone slot specified. In this situation, at runtime, if the size of the message is bigger than 160 characters, then this message will be sent to the default phone slot and the one you specified is ignored.
Edit this Send Message element and set the Phone Slot property to the Default value.
<flow> should contain a 'HistoryMissing' Error Handler: you have a Mobile Web flow with no error handler to catch any History Missing exceptions. Due to the limitations of some WAP devices, Platform Server keeps a history of the navigation. However, this stack is limited so your eSpace should catch the exception "History Missing" and display a friendly message to the end user.
Add an Error Handler to your Mobile Web flow to catch the History Missing exception.
There are no widgets in the ‘<screen>’ submitting inputs to the server. The user inputs for this screen will be ignored.: you have a screen or a block that contains input widgets to gather end-user data, like for example a Web Input widget, and this information is not being submitted back to the server.
In order to send end-user inputs back to Platform Server, edit this screen or block and do one of the following :
Add or edit a Web Button, Web Link or, a Mobile Web Link and set the Method property to Submit.
Add or edit a Web widget with Ajax capabilities and execute a screen action using Ajax. How?
Clicking the symbol will take you directly to the property or element that issued the warning.
