The File menu, on the Menu bar, contains options related to the management of files. In Service Studio, an eSpace is represented by a single file, with the extension oml.

The File menu contains the following operations:

New: Creates a new eSpace from the Style Guide or a blank one. How?

Open: Opens an already existing eSpace. How?

Save: Saves the active eSpace. How?

Save As...: Saves the active eSpace and allows the duplication of the file with a different name. How?

Close: Closes the current eSpace.

Select server...: Allows you to select the Platform Server that you want to use. How?

Add/Remove References... : Allows you to add or remove references to your eSpace. How?

Download...: Allows you to download an eSpace from the Platform Server you are using. How?

Upload: Allows you to upload the current eSpace to the Platform Server you are using. How?

Clone...: Copies the currently open eSpace into a new one, with a different eSpace identifier, and opens it. How?

Compare and Merge...: Compares elements from two eSpaces and selectively copies elements from an eSpace into the one currently opened. How?

Import Language Resources: Imports the translated resources from the file to your eSpace. How?

Export Language Resources: Exports to a file all your eSpace's translatable resources marked for translation. How?

Most recent files: a list of the eSpaces recently opened in Service Studio.

Exit: Closes Service Studio.
