Platform Server has the following functionality:

Deliver multiple user interfaces for distinct user profiles.
Integrate hosted applications with other systems, both internal and external.
Define the access rules of the applications at the infrastructure and business logic level.
Automate the deployment of applications.

Platform Server is centrally operated by Enterprises or Service Providers to support the collaborative development of enterprise applications.
