Service Studio 5.1 Help
Service Studio
Service Studio is the visual development environment where you fully develop your eSpaces: design and create, modify and, finally, test them. In Agile Platform, the eSpace life cycle comprises the following steps:
Design: The development of the user interface, business logic, and data handled by the eSpace. While developing your application a consistency check of your eSpace is automatically executed through the TrueChangeTM mechanism.
Upload: The upload of the eSpace to a Platform Server.
Compile and Deploy: The creation and distribution of the executable files necessary to run the eSpace in the Platform Server.
Run: Test of the eSpace.
To better understand each step, see Overview
of eSpace Life Cycle.
Connected to an Platform Server
To fully execute the eSpace life cycle in Service Studio, you must be connected to a Platform Server where your eSpaces will be deployed and hosted. This action is implemented by the 1-Click Publish feature, which executes the entire eSpace life cycle with a single mouse-click. How?
Service Studio is installed as a desktop application for personal use. However, due to the facilities available, it is possible to have a multi-user development environment.
The target users of Service Studio are enterprise application developers familiar with information system design.
