You can apply styles to some of the widgets in your eSpace. These styles can be managed either internally or externally.

Managing styles internally means that you can define and edit your styles at development time. The style sheet is internal in the sense that you cannot change the file name or its location.

How to edit an Internal Style Sheet:

Simply execute one of the following operations:

  • Web Style Sheets

In the Style Sheet property of your eSpace, Web Screen, Email, or Web Block click on to open the Style Sheet Editor.

  • Widgets Style Property

    1. In the Content Canvas, click a widget that contains a style property.

    2. In the Properties Pane, select the Style property and press the '(Style Sheet Editor)' option which will open the Style Sheet Editor.

Whenever you create a style or change your style sheet, you can immediately check your changes on the screen canvas.

Web Styles Scope

The styles defined in the Web Style Sheet of your eSpace may be globally applied to all widgets in the eSpace. Additionally, you may define specific styles to be applied in the scope of your web screens, web blocks, or emails by editing their own style sheets. See Web Screen properties, Web Block properties, and Email properties.

When applying the style to a widget, the style definition is the first one found in the style sheets that are in the scope of the widget, according to the following order:

    1. Web Screen or Email Style Sheet

    2. Web Block Style Sheet

    3. eSpace Style Sheet
