About the Edit Record Widget
The
Edit Record
widget allows you to edit a single
record of an entity,
structure,
or a combination of the two.
In the web screen, this widget is inserted inside a
Table and, therefore, you can use the
Table toolbar to add and remove
rows. The number of columns is limited to 1 or 2 and you have to use the
Display Columns property. How?

Contents of the widget
To define the contents of widget, you can:
Drag the complete entity and/or structure and all its attributes are placed in the widget, except the identifier and entity references.
Drag individual entity and/or structure attributes.
To place the identifier and
entity references, simply explicitly drag them.
Layout of the widget
The layout of this widget follows these rules:
For each attribute, two columns are displayed with the following semantics:
First column: The name of the attribute that corresponds to the Label property, if any, or the name of the attribute.
Second column: The value of the attribute with the suitable widget as presented below.
Boolean attributes are translated into Check Box widgets.
