Creating Delete Actions

Use IntelliWarpTM to automatically create the action to delete an entity record through a Button, simply by doing the following:

Select the button on the canvas;
Right-click on it;
Choose to link to the new Delete Record Screen Action.

Right-click and Select Link to New...

The Delete Action is Created and Set as Destination

What's Required for IntelliWarpTM to Work?

For the Delete Actions IntelliWarpTM to work the following is required:

The element on the canvas must be a Button widget;
The eSpace must have been created from the Style Guide. See how to Create an eSpace.

What's Created for You?

IntelliWarpTM sets button label text to 'Delete' and links it to a new 'Delete...' Screen Action containing the following:

The flow to delete the entity record;
The flow to handle errors;
Feedback messages for success or failure.

What Can You Do Next?

Change the patterns created by IntelliWarpTM as, for example, add further business logic to the flow, or change the feedback text in the MessageText property of the 'Feedback_Message' action.
