About Extensions
An Extension is a set of actions, structures, and entities, defined in Integration Studio, that increment the Agile Platform and allow integration with external systems.
The definition and management of extensions are fully supported by Integration Studio. You should check the product's documentation of to see how extensions are integrated in Agile Platform.
To use an extension in your eSpace, it must be published in the same Platform Server you are connected to. Simply add it as a reference to the actions, structures and/or entities exposed by this extension.
Through Extensions you can extend:
Business logic layer: Use custom .NET components or integrate with any external systems, by adding references to Extension actions and Extension structures. How?
Data layer: Integrate with an external database, by adding references to Extension entities, so called Foreign Entities. How?
If the extension definition changes, after being added as a reference, simply update its definition with the Add/Remove eSpace References Window.
