Add/Remove References Window
The Add/Remove References Window
Show

allows you to add and remove references (Is an element exposed by a Producer eSpace or extension that, when
referenced by a Consumer eSpace, is called an eSpace reference in its
context. Once an eSpace reference, e.g. an action or entity, is added,
you can use it anywhere in the Consumer eSpace but you cannot change its
definition.)
in your eSpace. This window is explicitly launched in the eSpace menu
or in the Toolbar by selecting the
Add/Remove
References, or can be automatically
launched if there were any changes in the eSpace references.

To add or remove your references, you must be connected to a server where the producer you want to use is published. If you are not connected yet, Service Studio prompts you to select a server and then establishes the connection. See how to connect to a server.
The Add/Remove References window is divided into two panes: on the left hand side, the pane with the list of Producers published in the server you are connected to, and on the right hand side, the pane with the list of Public Elements for the currently selected Producer.
Operations with References
In the Add/Remove References window you may perform the following operations with the references:
Add a reference: select the producer and check the public elements you want to add as references to your eSpace and press OK. All the checked elements will be added as eSpace references. Learn more about Add an eSpace Reference.
Remove a reference: select the producer and un-check the public elements you want to remove the references from your eSpace and press OK. All the elements that have been un-checked will be deleted as eSpace references. Learn more about Remove an eSpace Reference.
Refresh
a reference: use the
Refresh button to refresh
the public elements definition that are in-use by your eSpace or to simply
remove the ones that are missing. Learn more about Handle
Modified and Missing eSpace References.
Filtering the Elements
To narrow your listed elements, you may apply filters to the Producers and to the Public Elements. For that, there are two filters available for each pane and only those elements that satisfy both filtering conditions are displayed:
Name Filter: type the name that you want to find, or part of it, in the search box of the respective pane. As you type, Service Studio automatically filters the elements that contain the typed text in their name. To reset this filter, simply delete all the text.
View Filter: the possible options for the view filter are:
'Show All': lists all the available elements that you may reference. In the Producers Pane, the producers currently in use are displayed in bold, and in the Public Elements pane, the public elements currently in use are displayed with their check box checked.
'Show In Use': displays only those elements references that are in use in the eSpace.
'Show Missing or Modified' (this option is only available for the Public Elements pane): displays only those Public Elements references that are in use but, either their Producer is missing in the current server, or the referenced element has been modified in the Producer.
