Timer Schedule Editor
You can schedule your timer to be automatically awakened at a pre-defined moment of time. Simply double-click the timer Schedule property that launches the Timer Schedule editor.
In this editor you must specify both of the following parameters:
Occurs: Indicates how often the Timer is awakened. The following options are available:
Daily: The Timer is awakened every day at the specified Time.
Weekly: The Timer is awakened on the selected days of the week at the specified Time.
The editor is expanded and you may select which days of the week the Timer must be awakened. You can select one or more days of the week.
Day of Month: The Timer is awakened on the selected nth day of every month at the specified Time.
The editor is expanded and you may select in which day the Timer must be awakened. You can select as many days as you want; simply press the CTRL key, after selecting the first value.
Schedule
Day of Month value is not checked for a
valid date at definition time, however, it is at runtime. For example,
if you set the Timer to wake on the 30th
of every month, the timer will not execute in February.
Weekday of Month: The Timer is awakened on the specified day of the selected week at the specified Time. For example: on the second Sunday of every month, at 12:00, the timer is awakened.
The editor is expanded and you may select the week the Timer is to be awakened: the first, second, third, fourth, or last weekday of the every month.
Schedule
Weekday of Month value is not checked for
a valid weekday at definition time, however, it is at runtime. For example,
if you want to wake a Timer on the fourth Tuesday of every month, in months
with no fourth Tuesday, it will not be executed.
When Published: The Timer is awakened at the end of each 1-Click Publish operation that is executed for the eSpace where the Timer is defined. However, if the eSpace is being published within a solution publishing operation, the Timer is queued and then awakened at the end of the whole solution publish operation.
Time: The moment when the Timer is awakened. You can specify more than one value for Time; simply press the CTRL key, after selecting the first value.
The Clear button resets all the Schedule information and the timer won't be awakened, unless you explicitly awake it. How.
