Creating List Screens
Use IntelliWarpTM
to create
Web Screens
to list entity records (List Screens) based on a
Theme
layout.
Creating a List Screen
Drag the
Entity
from the eSpace Tree
and drop it on the Content
Canvas of a
Web Flow.

From the List
Screen layout
defined in your
Theme,
a new
Web Screen is created.

The following elements are designed for you:
A page header with the application icon and name, an application switcher, user-related information, and log out link;
In the
Menu
web block, a new menu entry for the List Screen;
The screen body filled in with:
A page title;
A
Table
Records widget to list entity records, allowing sorting by column
and pagination;
A Search tool to filter entity records: it searches in all text attributes and all labels of referenced entities;
On the right hand side: a
placeholder filled in with an Export to Excel link,
and a built-in feature for the most recent items;
A footer.
What's Required for IntelliWarpTM to Work?
To generate List Screens with IntelliWarpTM, the following is required:
The entity must have at least one attribute (or related entity attribute) of Text data type;
The eSpace must have a
Theme with a layout
for List Screens. Learn more About Themes.
For keeping your applications simple for end-users, IntelliWarpTM displays at most 20 attributes of the Entity, when designing List Screens.
What Can You Do Next?
Change the patterns created by IntelliWarpTM as, for example, remove columns of entity attributes you don't need, organize the disposition of the displayed entity attributes, or set your own images in the 'Header' Web Block.
Continue designing from the current screen with IntelliWarpTM:
Create a Edit/Show Screen for the listed records;
Create a Pop-up Editor for the listed records;
Create a Pop-up Info Balloon for the listed records.
Any attribute you add to
the entity can be dragged into the Table
Records, and IntelliWarpTM
automatically integrates it in the design of your application.
