About Public Area
The Public Area is an area, stored in the Platform Server, that is shared by all developers and users that have access to the last published version of the eSpace.
Update the Public Area
The Public Area is updated through the
1-Click Publish operation,
which increments the published version
of that eSpace, allowing you to have eSpace version control, in Agile
Platform. The published version is the version available for all users
when accessing the Public Area. See Run
eSpace Published Version.
You must be aware that when the Public Area
is updated, changes to some eSpace elements may affect not only the Public
Area but also all Personal Areas
and, therefore, the
Run
the eSpace operation.
eSpace Public Elements
The Public Elements of your eSpace are always available in the Public Area. Therefore any changes on these elements, made while updating the Public Area, will affect all the Consumer eSpaces that reference them, so a warning message is presented during the 1-Click Publish operation.
