Name

Name that identifies the process.

Description

Free text that describes the process. You can edit the text by directly typing it in the property or in the description editor which opens by clicking

Optional

 

Useful for documentation purposes.

The maximum size of this property is 2000 characters.

Public

Indicates whether this process can be used by other eSpaces. Learn more on how to Reuse eSpace Elements.

Mandatory

No

This property is only available for processes that were created in the current eSpace.

Expose Process Entity

Indicates whether the process has its introspection entity available in the Entities folder.

Launch On

The entity event that automatically launches an instance of the process:

Create <entity>: a new process instance is launched when a record is created for the specified entity.

Optional

 

When an entity event is chosen, the primary key of the entity is automatically added as an input parameter of the process. In this way each process instance has a reference indication the entity record that it is related to.

End-User Information - Group of properties with information to be displayed to the end-user.

Label

Name of the Process to be displayed to the end-user.

Mandatory

 

 

Detail

Detailed description to be used as default in the Detail property of the Human Activities (in the process flow) that don't have their Detail property specified.

Use expressions to build dynamic descriptions and thereby give more contextual information to the end-user.

Optional

 

This property should be defined when the Launch On property is not defined or, if defined, the Entity in referred in it does not have any Text attribute. These properties are used to calculate a default value for the Detail property of Human Activities which don't have that property specified.
