When developing your web flows you can display images through the Image widget.
The supported image file formats are:
The wbmp format is also supported but is produced from one of the others at compile time.
The development environment supports three different types of images, which affect the way images are managed in the module. You can add images to Web Screens.
An image can have one of the following types:
Static: Static images included in the oml file. See how to use a static image;
External: External images stored outside the OutSystems Platform and the oml file. See how to use an external image;
Database: Images stored in the OutSystems Platform database. See how to use a database image;
Background: Images set as background of widgets through the Style Sheet. See how to use a background image.
The size of an image, at runtime, depends on the values you specify in the module, as explained below:
If you define the Height and Width properties of the Image widget, then these values are used.
If these properties do not have a value, then the Height and Width properties of the Image are used.
The Image refers to the Image element that belongs to the module tree.
