Left Margin

The Grid automatically sets a left margin in widgets that have the following properties:

The left margin that is set by the Grid is obtained from the Gutter Width property of the theme in use.

You are allowed to set other values of width by doing one of the following:

Top Margin

The Grid automatically sets a top margin in all widgets that have the following properties:

The top margin height that is automatically set by the Grid is the following:

Top Margin in Nested Widgets

In case you have nested widgets, the top margins of the parent and its first child is the tallest top margin of the two widgets if:

If the conditions for collapsing are not met, the margins are normally rendered for the parent and first child widget.

What About the Bottom and Right Margins?

To make layout simpler, the top and left margins should be used whenever possible.
