Technology leaders at retail banks have reached a critical crossroads as they look to accelerate growth and deliver greater customer value. To do this, they’re embracing digital transformation. In fact, according to a recent IDG study, 84% of those surveyed said that digital transformation is a top priority for them. However, very few retail banks have successfully made the transformation to a complete digitized strategy. Many have taken a narrower view, implementing what’s commonly known as a “bolt-on” strategy, focused just on customer-facing apps and process redesign.
