Job Summary

Qualified candidates are being considered for openings within the Global Technology Services group at FICO. You will be part of the Cloud Support Group responsible for troubleshooting, revising, upgrading and improving solutions deployed on our Cloud platform. Our services are hosted in our data centers as well on AWS. You will possess a strong background in enterprise application integration with a strong focus on Cloud (SaaS / PaaS) deployment and design.

The position will be based in the FICO office located in Bangalore, India.


Job Description



  • Participate in service restoration activities by troubleshooting production code and identifying resolutions for mission critical production solutions.
  • Identify customization deficiencies and define new code patterns to resolve and harden solutions within the cloud.
  • Collaborate with FICO Product, Infrastructure and Professional Services teams to identify new enhancements for streamlining implementation, monitoring product performance and improving the scalability of these cloud-based solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership in the specification, design, development and deployment of custom software solutions using various FICO products. This individual has the ability to analyze user requirements and Use Cases to transform them into capabilities of the business application.
  • Engage with key stake holders, internal and external, to understand the product and user requirements.
  • Generate appropriate design documents, wireframes and other forms of documentation to clearly represent the solutions being created.
  • Work with other development team members to allow them to implement the designs, including design and code reviews.
  • Implementation and coding of solutions.
  • Generate unit tests and other testing strategies to ensure the products are being tested thoroughly to produce quality products.


Experience Requirements

  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Very strong in Core Java
  • Very good Knowledge of OutSystems platform or any other low-code rapid application development platforms
  • Experience working in a Shared Production environment – either Hosted or Cloud. AWS experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of Originations Domain(at least involved in 2 Origination projects)
  • Good knowledge of JQuery/JavaScript,Angular JS, Node JS andCSS
  • XML (XML processing and Concepts), XSLT, Ajax and Web Services
  • Good Knowledge ofJBOSS
  • Demonstrable experience in resolving issues, documenting and transitioning the solution
  • Good Experience in relational database design on Oracle/SQL Server and good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL
  • Enterprise application design and development in Java/J2EE technologies (Servlets, JSP, JDBC, EJB 3, JMS, JPA, JUnit)
  • Good Knowledge of JSF, spring frameworks and Hibernate.
  • Process knowledge e.g. managing and tracking requirements, design, etc…
  • Excellent communication skills. Good English (written and spoken) Communication and Documentation skills, (MS-Office, Visio)


Good to have:

  • Prior Knowledge of FICO Origination Manager 4.6+ (APM and Decision modules) or FICO Decision Management Platform
  • Candidates with project experience in Credit Decisioning projects, Originations, Scorecard Analysis or with other vendor products (Loan Origination systems) will be advantageous
  • Knowledge of multiple application servers and middleware products such as Web Logic, MQ Series, TIBCO, Tivoli, WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and WebSphere Process Server/WID
  • Maven or Ant
  • Experience with large database and transactional systems is preferred
  • Experience in either the Financial, Telecommunications, or Insurance Industries is preferred
