About the Position

A well-known and established company supplying developmental credit to the minibus taxi industry requires the above to secure clients that want to finance a taxi, make credit decisions and activate the clients on the system, as well as maintain the back-office system.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering is advantageous.
  • Previous OutSystems development experience and/or certification is essential.
  • Previous programming experience with databases such as SQL Server or Oracle or MySQL is essential.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with web application programming is advantageous.
  • Must be proficient in C# and web-based languages such as JavaScript, CSS and/or HTML.
  • Knowledge of ASP.NET and database modeling are essential.
  • Must be fluent in English and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as within a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing the end-to-end design, development, testing, implementation, and management of the bridge back-office operations solution developed on the OutSystems platform.
  • Overseeing the origination, collections and administrative back-office processes, controls and requirements.
  • Developing solution features following OutSystems development best practices and CSS architecture framework, ensuring solution performance and user adoption.
  • Designing and implementing databases.
  • Developing integration with external systems according to the defined architecture guidelines.
  • Finishing all assigned tasks with quality within the defined timeframe.
  • Conducting unit and integration testing as well as executing the necessary bug fixing.
  • Assisting with web design and implementation as well as team and project management.
