Role Summary 

Seeking a highly experienced Senior OutSystems Lead to oversee the design, development, and deployment of large-scale enterprise applications utilizing OutSystems 11. This senior-level role involves providing technical leadership, mentoring a small team, and ensuring that applications meet performance, scalability, and security standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expert knowledge of OutSystems architecture principles and best practices, guiding development efforts and contributing to strategic technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade applications using OutSystems 11. 
• Lead end-to-end development activities for large-scale OutSystems projects, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. 
• Supervise and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and task delegation. 
• Apply deep knowledge of OutSystems architecture, including multi-layered architecture, modularization, and dependency management. 
• Evaluate existing applications to identify technical debt and recommend strategies for remediation. 
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews to maintain code quality, adherence to standards, and code maintainability. 
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. 
• Implement and enforce architecture best practices, coding standards, and development guidelines within the team. 
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for reliability and performance. 
• Stay updated on OutSystems platform enhancements, industry best practices, and emerging technological trends.  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in OutSystems development, including at least 2 years working with OutSystems 11. 
• Proven experience leading and managing small development teams in enterprise OutSystems projects. 
• In-depth understanding of OutSystems architecture concepts such as multi-layered architecture, modularization, and dependency management. 
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and address technical debt effectively. 
• Strong proficiency in SQL, REST/SOAP web services, and data modeling. 
• Solid knowledge of application lifecycle management (ALM) within the OutSystems platform. 
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies. 
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills. 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. 
• Availability to work Pacific Time hours.  

Publishing Pay Range: $60.00 – $65.00 hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
