It would be interesting after selecting several Server Actions to be able to place them in a folder by right-clicking the mouse. "Enclose in Folder".

In the same way that it is done with the Widgets in which we select several elements in the Widget Tree, for example, and the "Enclose in Container" or "Enclose in If" option appears.

OK, way not ! It could accelerate the process and promote the organization of actions.

Excelent idea. This will really speed up the process.

Great idea Carlos.

I like the idea, but something like this already has been marked as 'Out of scope'?

https://www.outsystems.com/ideas/5367/move-action-to-folder/

This was more about another way to move actions via a right click menu to a folder. Because dragging/dropping had some 'lag' when moving the action around, but it feels like this lag still is present.

I think the 'Out of scope' references the trying to fix the lagging issue.
But regarding the 'right click move to a group', it wasn't a pattern they (OutSystems) wanted to promote (then, 2018).

Vasco Pessanha @Oct 12th, 2018:
Regarding moving elements with right-click it is not a pattern we want to promote in Service Studio since move operations are done by simply dragging elements to where you want.

Perhaps this is the time to revisit this topic, and further stress the amount of actions and folders could be present in a module. It is no longer '...simply dragging elements to where you want'.

Jeroen,

Thank you for bringing this information. I believe my idea differs a little from this one, since I'm not proposing drag and drop. My suggestion is to select more than one Server Action and when you click the right mouse button, the option to group these elements into a folder appears.

Just that.

Elements of the same kind can now be enclosed within a folder in the tree.

Excellent! Speeds up the process.
