It would be nice to have the possibility to add comments inside the aggregates, namely for each row of Sources and Filters tabs.
Since P10, you can use comments inside expressions using the syntax /* comment */, so you can kind of add comments to Filters already.
Cheers,
Paulo
Hi Paulo,
That's a nice workaround, but It would be nice to "disable" the filter without using /* */.
In the sources tab, being able to disable joins without deleting them to test the query would be awesome too.

The ability to add comments to aggregates, a comment button (with the comment icon next to the name) that would allow users to add notes to aggregates
This could also be used to add comments to screens, web blocks, ....
Because right now the only way to add comments to the aggregate would be to use it inside a data action
Hi Bruno,
I don't know if I got it. Which is the difference from use the aggregate description?
Hi Gabriel,
At least for me the description of the aggregate is to add a brief explanation of what the aggregate does.
A comment/note next to the aggregate would give the user more visibility of for example if changing that aggregate would impact other parts of the application I could describe them there as well as having a Reminder option just like the comments
You can add comments to the entity diagram, and you can add description to an entity, why is that not enough?
Hello,
It would be very helpful if we could add comments or important notes to Aggregates so we can remember them later.
The notes in the Aggregate description are not very visible and intuitive to the developers. To make it more visible, it could appear when we open an aggregate.
@Luis Soares You can use Comment tool (widget) in various places, including logic flows, UI screens, expressions, aggregates and advanced queries, to provide notes and documentation.
Apart from posting an idea that already exists for a long time you can Since version , you can use comments inside expressions using the syntax /* comment */, so you can kind of add comments to Filters etc. already.
