The Team

The IT Enterprise Support Systems (ESS) Team provides a number of critical systems support and delivery functions across Optus Business’ (OB) business units including Sales, Connected Core, Integrated Customer Service and Finance, etc.

Optus Business is undergoing a CRM transformation moving from the legacy SMART application (Siebel 7.8) to the SingTel Group Enterprise uCRM platform (OutSystems), as well as to support some Marketing-led acquisition initiatives.


The Role

As Senior Data Analyst you will provide ongoing support across CRM platforms from a technical and SME standpoint. These platforms interface with multiple other systems across the wider OB IT Ecosystem, so you will be responsible for driving continuous IT support to multiple stakeholders within the Sales team along with other teams where necessary. Some of your key responsibilities will include-

  • Incident and problem management for CRM platforms
  • User access Management for CRM platforms
  • Data governance across CRM platforms
  • Investigation and resolution of incidents relating to data loads including “COM Tools”, sync processes and other interface jobs.
  • Performance necessary data uploads or entry actions to synchronize data between CRM systems such as-
  • Execute and maintain bulk upload tools
  • Validate updates to ensure accuracy to source
  • Perform manual data entry to correct data item conflict
  • Maintain the Data Mapping Table (DMT) and communicate changes to stakeholders
  • Document evolving IP through work instructions, knowledge base and process specifications for eventual use in the strategic solutions


About You

You’ll be a natural problem solver and be comfortable supporting a variety of stakeholders up to Director level. Having studied in an IT capacity or gained relevant IT industry experience, you’ll be highly proficient with a variety of systems and technologies. Ideally you’ll hold strong CRM/SQL/Data Warehousing experience with an ITIL or relevant industry qualification. Experience working within a large telco or global company in an IT Support role will certainly be useful in this role.
