Job Summary:

As Head of Enterprise Business System, you will lead, design, architect and implement innovative IT business solutions throughout the entire business value chain across the group to achieve organizational and operational efficiency, effectiveness, standardization and competitiveness.

To achieve the desired outcomes, the incumbent is required to partner corporate Business Units to facilitate in the conduct of business process redesign and reengineering through applying best practices on business process management (BPM) methodology. Formulating and aligning IT workplans with key stakeholders and business units and ensuring key deliverables in the IT workplans are achieved.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead a team of system analysts in the business process redesign, development and implementation of IT business solutions
• Lead, facilitate and train key business staff in the conduct of business process reengineering (BPR) with business partners and stakeholders
• Actively engage business units in evaluating and assessing business and operational challenges and pain points and identify key areas for automation to address challenges
• Lead and project manage development of IT solutions to ensure business objectives and deliverables are achieved within the stipulated timeline and budget
• Assist in the development and formulation of IT department’s strategic direction and workplans that aligned to business strategies and plans
• Assist in the preparation of annual IT department budgets and ensuring effective and efficient use of resources and assets
• Develop, mentor and train IT staff to ensure they are technically competent to deliver IT solutions
• Actively engage internal IT units and external vendors, service providers, solution integrators to source, evaluate, develop and implement cost effective and innovative IT solutions and / or services that meet business needs
• Able to work with offshore teams to deliver the projects

Experience, Technical Competencies and Soft Skills:

• At least 10 years of related experience in similar role implementing IT enterprise business system for medium to large enterprises and preferably in similar industry
• Strong technical knowledge in multitude of enterprise solutions and systems such as ERP (such as SAP), CRM, Enterprise Business Workflow solutions, Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions etc.
• Excellent software development experience using SCRUM agile development methodology for implementation of enterprise business solutions and preferably with experience using OutSystems or other rapid application development platforms.
• Good experience in developing middleware and integration layer for backend integration with SAP, CRM and other business systems through REST API, JSON, Web Services, SOAP, BAPI etc.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in implementing Corporate Intranet and Knowledge Management Portals using MS Sharepoint or other content management solutions
• Good working knowledge and experience with Microsoft products and services such as MS SQL Server, Active Directory, MS IIS, MS Windows Server, Azure etc. would be advantages
• Strong knowledge and experience using BPM methodology to conduct business process redesign and reengineering in similar industry would be advantageous
• Good technical knowledge on web development languages and framework such as Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, React, AngularJS, Python, Ruby on Rails etc as well as responsive design would be advantageous
• Experience working with cross functional and multi-disciplinary corporate functions and business units and ability to translate business requirements and concepts into system and functional specifications
• Good communication skill and ability to communicate complex IT concept and models in simple and clear language to business leaders and key users are essentials
• Excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and engage at all levels
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with minimal or no supervision required
• Able to collaborate and work in a team environment; seek regular feedback and contribute in team meetings
• Strong organizational skill and able to handle competing priorities and meet all deadlines and commitments. Accountable for producing an accurate, timely and quality outcomes and deliverables

Qualification:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or Masters in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Post graduate certificate or diploma in Business Process Management would be advantageous
• Professional certification in Project Management from PMI or equivalent is preferred
• Post graduate Master’s Segree in business administration would be advantageous
• Professional certification in Six Sigma or LEAN would be advantageous
