Our customer is a team of experts designing, developing, and maintaining solutions on the OutSystems low-code platform, supporting customers in complex digital transformation initiatives.

The role

We’re looking for a Senior-level OutSystems Developer—ideally with Tech Lead capability—who can work independently, shape solution architecture, and lead delivery for a large, long-term digitalization program built from scratch for one of our customers.

You will take ownership of the technical direction and help ensure the solution is built with strong architecture principles (e.g., domain-driven thinking), scalable integrations, and reliable delivery practices.

What you’ll do

• Lead the technical design and implementation of solutions on OutSystems (especially OutSystems 11).
• Own end-to-end delivery of features: architecture, development, integration, testing, and deployment.
• Design and maintain a robust application architecture (including modularity, performance, security, and maintainability).
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders (customer, product owners, developers) to refine requirements and solution approach.
• Guide engineering practices: code quality, reviews, standards, and mentoring.
• Support data-driven development: modeling, database integrations, and performance considerations.
• Contribute to DevOps ways of working, including environments, deployments, and on-prem installation considerations when required.

What we’re looking for (must-have)

• Strong hands-on experience as a Senior Developer and the ability to operate independently.
• Solid understanding of low-code development concepts and what “good architecture” means in low-code platforms (OutSystems experience is strongly preferred).
• Proven background in solution architecture and building complex business systems.
• Strong background in .NET (experience as a senior engineer, architect, or tech lead is highly valued).
• Comfort working with databases and data modelling in enterprise applications.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to have

• Prior experience as a Tech Lead (or readiness to step into that role).
• DevOps experience (CI/CD), environment management, and deployments.
• Experience with on-prem deployments and enterprise constraints.
• Exposure to domain-driven design and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with large internal digitalization programs (government, industrial, banking, healthcare, etc.).

Alternative candidate path (important)

If you’re not yet an OutSystems developer but you are an experienced .NET architect/tech lead with strong system design skills, we still want to hear from you. The company supports onboarding and mentoring to transition into OutSystems effectively.

Working model

• Hybrid between the office (Helsinki) and customer premises depending on the project phase and needs.

Eligibility

• You must be eligible to work in Finland (this role is direct employment in Finland).
• Finnish language skill is a must.
