Senior OutSystems Engineer

Job Overview and Responsibilities

• - Design, develop, and deploy applications using the OutSystems platform.
• - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from storyboard and design, develop to testing and deployment
• - Develop user interfaces, application logic, and integrations with external systems.
• - Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• - Follow best practices for coding, testing, and version control within the OutSystems environment.
• - Create and maintain technical documentation for application design, functionality, and development processes.
• - Participate in code reviews with Technical Leads to ensure quality and adherence to development standards.
• - Collaborate with team members within an Agile/Scrum development environment, contributing to sprint planning, development tasks, and retrospectives.

Required Skills and Experience 

• 5+ years of experience in IT, with hands-on development experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in OutSystems development
• Strong understanding of application design principles and UI/UX best practices.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and web services (e.g., RESTful APIs).
• Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL queries for relational databases (e.g., SQL Server).
• Able to speak and write well in English for easier communication with others.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Preferred experience in developing enterprise applications or large-scale systems, with familiarity in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
