Senior OutSystems Developer

We are working on one of our most ambitious OutSystems projects. At the beginning of 2024, we started a multi-year, large-scale development project in OutSystems to simplify our IT landscape and provide customers with flexible, high-quality pension products. Together with a multidisciplinary team, you will help shape the future of our pension systems. With your contribution, we aim to become Future Ready.

What You Will Do

Within our DevOps team, we are building a Business Process Management (BPM) application on top of our pension administration system in SAP using the Agile/Scrum methodology.

• The goal of this new application is to: simplify our IT landscape, optimize internal processes and improve customer experience
• The system will support processes related to important life events, such as: retirement, job changes and marriage or cohabitation
• It will also support commercial processes, including: quoting pension products or implementing pension contracts

As a Senior OutSystems Developer, you will play a leading role in shaping this application.

Your responsibilities include

• Collaborating with developers, analysts, and testers within the team
• Working closely with other teams across the organization
• Designing and implementing complex integrations with:
• SAP pension administration
• Customer administration systems
• Digital channels
• CRM
• Output manufacturing systems
• Ensuring code quality, scalability, and future-proof architecture
• Contributing to the technical design of user stories
• Supporting analysts with technical insights and implementation strategies
• Acting as a sparring partner for the Product Owner (PO)
• Helping the team achieve sprint goals
• Monitoring application architecture and development standards

Required qualifications

• University degree
• At least 5 years of experience with OutSystems

Experience in

• Coaching colleagues
• Future-proof application design
• Architecture within complex IT landscapes
• Complex API integrations with multiple third-party systems
• BPTs (Business Process Technology)
• Strong command of English

Nice to Have

• Background in financial services, or motivation to learn the domain.
