Flexing It has partnered with Our client, a leading mine service solutions partner is looking for a Senior OutSystems Developer. This role reports to the Business Improvement Manager and will be working closely with business leaders to embed innovative digital solutions. You will work on high-impact projects transforming current processes and promoting data-driven decision-making. You must exhibit strong initiative, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full OutSystems development lifecycle: solution design, architecture decisions, component development, integrations, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing optimization.
  • Design AI-powered features within OutSystems applications using OutSystems' native AI capabilities like OutSystems AI Mentor Studio and external AI services (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock).
  • Mentor developers to take increasing responsibilities and get certified in OutSystems. Enforce strict adherence to OutSystems best practices, code reviews and performance standards.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable OutSystems applications by producing technical specifications, data models, UI/UX flows, logic diagrams,and performance-focused designs.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain OutSystems applications with clean architecture, reusable components.
  • Own integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, SQL databases, authentication services, document repositories, and enterprise tools) and ensure they are secure, reliable, and monitored.
  • Migrate legacy systems or manual processes into OutSystems applications through structured discovery, solution design, build, UAT coordination, and production rollout.
  • Work with cross-functional teams. i.e., Business, Data, BA, IT to prioritize enhancements, resolve blockers, and deliver high-quality releases on time.
  • Define and execute a structured application change-management approach: versioning, branching, deployment pipelines, rollback planning, dependency analysis, and release notes.
  • Perform independent technical assessments to identify platform limitations, performance bottlenecks, architectural risks, and opportunities for automation or re-usability.
  • Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to ensure application data structures, APIs, and event flows support reporting, dashboards, and long-term analytics needs.
  • Manage assigned development tasks using project management tools like ClickUp, establish and follow agile Delivery (backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, retros).

  • This project is for 2-4months.
  • Australian timings: 6am to 3pm IST

Skills Required

  • Minimum 5 years experience developing complex applications in OutSystems (Reactive/Mobile/Web) on ODC and O11, including architecture, data modelling, and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of OutSystems best practices: performance patterns, lifetime deployment, error handling frameworks, security roles, reusable UI patterns, and asynchronous processes.
  • Proven ability to deliver full-lifecycle projects from discovery to deployment within OutSystems and other low-code platforms.
  • OutSystems certification (Reactive/Professional Web/Mobile Developer or Architect) strongly preferred.
  • Test new AI capabilities and stay current with emerging AI best practices, platform updates, and industry patterns to continuously improve solution architecture.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals: design patterns, integration patterns, API standards, SQL, and environment management.
  • Experience working in agile teams and using tools like ClickUp and Azure DevOps.
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation habits, architecture diagrams, data models, logic flows, and release documentation.
  • Excellent ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset for troubleshooting performance issues, debugging integrations, and identifying architectural improvements.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality output reliably.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and maintains confidentiality and professionalism under pressure.
