🧐 WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8 years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in OutSystems.
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, timers, and batch processing.
- Knowledge of utility industry systems and processes (e.g., Meter-to-Cash, asset management).
- Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines).
- OutSystems Professional Developer or Specialist certification preferred.
Key competencies:
- Technical Leadership: Ability to guide and mentor developers while contributing to code delivery.
- Problem Solving: Skilled in diagnosing and resolving technical issues under time constraints.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and utility SMEs.
- Communication: Clear and effective in translating technical details for business stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments with evolving priorities.
- Continuous Improvement: Focused on process optimization and adoption of best practices.
🧐 HOW WILL YOUR DAILY JOB BE?
- Actively develop and lead OutSystems application builds, integrations, and enhancements for utility-specific processes.
- Collaborate with business analysts and utility SMEs to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement and enforce coding standards, modular architecture, and secure design principles.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and lead pair-programming sessions.
- Integrate applications with ERP systems.
- Manage sprint planning, backlog refinement, and agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and apply hotfixes when necessary.
- Monitor application performance using tools like Service Center, Dynatrace, and App Insights.
- Promote continuous improvement through automation, refactoring, and adoption of DevOps practices.
