We are looking for an OutSystems Tech Lead to join our Client’s team in a hybrid work model from Lisbon or Porto, with 2 days per week on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design, development, and delivery of applications using the OutSystems platform
- Guide and support development teams, ensuring high-quality standards and alignment with best practices
- Define solution architecture and contribute to technical decisions across projects
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
- Ensure application performance, maintainability, security, and reliability
- Oversee integrations between OutSystems applications and external systems or APIs
- Review code, mentor developers, and promote continuous improvement within the team
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support delivery teams in finding efficient solutions
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in OutSystems development, with proven experience in technical leadership or team coordination
- Strong understanding of OutSystems architecture, development best practices, and delivery lifecycle
- Experience leading development teams and supporting junior or mid-level developers
- Proven experience with integrations between systems, including APIs and external services
- Strong knowledge of SQL or PL/SQL
- Solid problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid model, with 2 days per week on-site in Lisbon or Porto
Technical Requirements:
- Strong experience with OutSystems development, architecture, and platform best practices
- Experience with OutSystems DPTs, Timers, Service Center, and performance monitoring
- Knowledge of PL/SQL or SQL; certification is a strong advantage
- Proven experience designing and implementing integrations between systems
- Ability to review technical solutions, identify risks, and ensure scalable implementation
- Experience with application lifecycle management and deployment processes in OutSystems
Nice to Have:
- OutSystems certifications, especially Tech Lead, Associate/Professional Developer, or Architecture-related certifications
- Experience with Agile delivery environments
- Previous experience in consulting or client-facing projects
- Experience with mentoring, technical coaching, or supporting team growth
