We are looking for Senior OutSystems Consultant & Cloud Architect!

Mission: We are looking for a Senior OutSystems Architect with strong hands-on experience in both OutSystems 11 and OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC), capable of operating autonomously in client environments and leading critical architectural decisions.

This role requires a blend of architecture leadership, technical delivery, and client-facing consulting, with a strong focus on platform modernization and cloud-native solutions.

Additional Information

The role operates in Eastern Time (ET). This is a fully remote position, working for a final client in Canada.

Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design

• Define and design scalable, secure, and highly available architectures in OutSystems 11 and ODC.
• Architect cloud-native, microservices-based solutions on AWS (ODC context).
• Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical architecture.

Platform Modernization & Evolution

• Lead the transformation of monolithic and 4-Layer Canvas applications (OS11) into distributed ODC-based architectures.
• Define migration strategies between OS11 and ODC environments.
• Support the modernization of legacy OutSystems applications.

Systems Integration

• Design and implement integrations with external systems (ERP, CRM, etc.).
• Integrate OutSystems with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, and others via REST and SOAP APIs.
• Define integration standards, security patterns, and error-handling strategies.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines using LifeTime (OS11).
• Design and optimize automated deployment processes in ODC.
• Ensure best practices for versioning, release management, and production stability.

Security, Performance & Reliability

• Ensure secure, scalable, and resilient architecture design.
• Define performance and cloud architecture best practices.
• Conduct architecture and security reviews.

Client Engagement & Technical Leadership

• Act in client-facing environments, engaging directly with stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Quickly onboard into existing projects and take ownership of architectural decisions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an OutSystems Architect or Tech Lead.
• Strong hands-on experience with OutSystems 11 (mandatory).
• Experience or certified training in OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC).
• Strong background in software architecture and cloud solutions.
• Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD processes (LifeTime and ODC deployment tools).
• Background in consulting or client-facing environments.
• Ability to work independently and in a hands-on capacity.
• Good level of english.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native architectures. Nice to Have
• Exposure to digital transformation or legacy modernization programs. Nice to Have
• OutSystems certifications. Nice to Have
