Job Description

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of secure, scalable OutSystemsapplications using the OutSystems Multi-Experience Development Platform.
• Own solution architecture decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards, performance requirements, security controls, and best practices.
• Drive delivery planning, estimations, prioritization, and execution to meet timelines, quality standards, and business outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers through mentoring, design reviews, code reviews, and development guidance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and client teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Lead integration design and implementation with external systems, APIs, and databases in line with defined architecture guidelines.
• Oversee application enhancements, defect resolution, maintenance, and release management across the application lifecycle.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify delivery and technical risks early, define mitigation plans, and escalate appropriately to stakeholders.
• Champion Agile delivery practices, engineering quality, and reusable design patterns across the team.

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in OutSystems software development and application delivery.
• Proven experience leading technical teams or acting as a solution lead on medium to large-scale application initiatives.
• Hands-on experience in stakeholder engagement, estimation, delivery governance, and mentoring engineers.

Certification (Must Have)

• OutSystems Reactive Web Developer (O11) certification is required.
• Additional OutSystems architecture or professional certifications are highly desirable.

Technical Competencies

• Strong knowledge of OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, Service Center, and LifeTime.
• Strong experience with OutSystems 11, especially Reactive Web App development.
• Ability to design scalable application architecture, reusable modules, and robust integration patterns.
• Experience integrating external systems, APIs, and relational databases using standard enterprise practices.
• Hands-on knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks.
• Experience with business workflows, form builders, debugging, performance tuning, and production support.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery, unit testing, version control, code quality, and release processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions.
