A leading financial services organization is undertaking a major transformation program, migrating approximately 30+ business-critical broker workflows from a legacy platform to a modern solution based on OutSystems (low-code) and .NET.
The current platform is end-of-support, creating urgency to modernize while ensuring continuity and minimizing risk.
About the Role
To strengthen the existing teams, we are looking for an experienced freelance OutSystems Developer to play a key role in delivering this migration.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing broker workflows and system dependencies
- Design and implement OutSystems modules
- Integrate applications with APIs, services, and backend systems
- Optimize performance and ensure reusability of components
- Document architecture, solutions, and handover materials
- Support deployment, validation, and quality assurance processes
Qualifications
- Medior–Senior level experience
- At least 3 years of OutSystems development experience, OR strong full-stack .NET / low-code background
- OutSystems certification (Associate Reactive Developer or Traditional Web Developer)
Required Skills
- Proven experience in migration or integration projects
- Solid experience with:
- API integrations and service architecture
- CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Database design and setup
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams is preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience in financial services or similar regulated environments
- Familiarity with customer-facing portals or high-availability platforms
- Previous experience working within large enterprise environments
