Position Overview

Our Client is seeking an OutSystems Developer and contribute to building innovative low-code applications that deliver value to our clients.

This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while developing your skills in a supportive environment. The successful candidate will work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to understand requirements, develop applications, perform testing, support deployments, and contribute to continuous improvement.

As this is a client-facing role, excellent communication skills are essential. The candidate will be required to interact regularly with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
• Design and implement application features following OutSystems best practices.
• Perform unit testing and support quality assurance activities.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document technical specifications and application workflows.
• Support application deployment and troubleshooting activities.
• Work within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to timely resolution.
• Ensure applications meet functional, technical, and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications / Must-Have Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of software development experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in OutSystems development, preferably with OutSystems 11, OR strong willingness to learn OutSystems.
• OutSystems Associate Developer certification, or willingness to obtain the certification within 3 months.
• Understanding of web technologies, including:
• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript
• SQL
• Knowledge of relational databases and data modeling.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with the OutSystems platform.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Exposure to application development and deployment processes.

• Candidates must have excellent communication skills.
• There will be no compromise on communication skills, as this is a client-facing position involving regular interaction with the team and stakeholders.
