Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to lead the OutSystems AI Pod, driving the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade low-code applications integrated with AI capabilities. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor developers, establish best practices, and collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of enterprise applications using OutSystems.
• Define technical architecture, coding standards, and development best practices.
• Integrate AI capabilities, REST APIs, and enterprise systems into OutSystems applications.
• Lead code reviews, technical design sessions, and solution architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Drive Agile delivery, sprint planning, estimation, and technical mentoring.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and production deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical guidance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on OutSystems development.
• Strong knowledge of OutSystems architecture, Service Studio, Integration Studio, and Lifetime.
• Experience integrating REST/SOAP APIs and external systems.
• Experience with AI integrations (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, or similar is preferred).
• Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications

• OutSystems Professional Developer
• OutSystems Technical Lead Certification
