Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance responsive web and mobile applications using OutSystems, following the approved architecture, coding standards and reusable design patterns.
• Translate user stories, process flows, wireframes and functional specifications into maintainable application components.
• Build user interfaces, data models, business logic, validations, role-based access controls, timers and background processes.
• Design, consume and troubleshoot REST and SOAP integrations with enterprise systems and external services.
• Write and optimise SQL queries, aggregates and data access logic while maintaining data integrity and acceptable performance.
• Perform unit testing, support SIT and UAT, and resolve defects within agreed sprint timelines.
• Participate in peer reviews and use platform analysis tools to address code quality, security, performance and maintainability findings.
• Support deployment and environment promotion activities, including release notes, deployment checks, rollback planning and post-release validation.
• Investigate incidents and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, implement fixes and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, stand-ups, demonstrations, retrospectives and continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional software development experience, with hands-on delivery on the OutSystems platform.
• Working knowledge of OutSystems Service Studio across interface, logic, data, integrations, security and deployment.
• Experience developing Reactive Web applications; exposure to mobile or Traditional Web applications is useful.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts including entities, relationships, indexes, transactions and query optimisation.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, authentication patterns and error handling; SOAP integration experience is an advantage.
• Foundational front-end skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for UI customisation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git or equivalent version control, Agile delivery practices and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation and teamwork skills.
