Role Description

• The OutSystems Developer (Contract) will work on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with business and technical teams to design, develop, and maintain applications on the OutSystems low-code platform. 
• Day-to-day responsibilities include translating business requirements into scalable application designs, building and testing modules, integrating systems and APIs, and ensuring performance, security, and reliability of solutions. 
• The role will involve troubleshooting and resolving application issues, preparing technical documentation, and supporting deployment and release activities. 
• The developer will also contribute to continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to existing applications and development processes.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with OutSystems development, including building web and mobile applications, creating reusable components, and managing integrations.
• Strong understanding of software development principles such as object-oriented programming, APIs, REST services, and database design (SQL).
• Ability to analyze business requirements, perform technical design, and translate user needs into functional and scalable low-code solutions.
• Proficiency in debugging, performance tuning, and application testing, including unit testing and functional testing within OutSystems.
• Experience with version control, deployment pipelines, and basic DevOps practices in a collaborative team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on-site.
• Relevant certification in OutSystems or low-code development platforms is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
