Porzio Life Sciences seeks a passionate Applications Developer to join our Compliance technology organization as a full-time employee. This role will facilitate technical development of our industry leading Life Sciences compliance products, leveraging both traditional software development skills as well as a low-code application development platform (OutSystems). This developer will work across development teams and focus on product development, integration, security and support of existing and new products.

Porzio Life Sciences provides regulatory and compliance products and services to companies in the life sciences industry.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Experience with software development/web technologies like Dot Net or Java.
  • Working knowledge of web services and APIs (SOAP / REST API).
  • Understanding of best practices for design, development, Support QA, Bug fixes, and Deployments).
  • Proficiency in web-based languages (JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML).
  • Basic understanding of the Cloud (Microsoft Azure or AWS).
  • Basic understanding of full stack development.
  • Ability to do basic data modeling and enforce proper referential integrity constraint.
  • Building applications using the SDLC framework (Requirements, design, build, code reviews, debug, documentation, testing, deployments). 
  • Knowledge of low-code development platforms is a plus (preferably OutSystems), including
  1. Deployments (using deployment framework such as Lifetime for OutSystems);
  2. Common performance problems and how to troubleshoot them;
  3. Mobile application development; and
  4. Integration with external sites via Webhooks, webservices or API calls.


  • 3+ years of application development with at least 1 year experience of Web Application Development (preferably with OutSystems experience or any other low code platform)
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility in daily work schedule to meet company needs during periods of heavy workload.

  • Candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
  • Minimal travel (< 5%) required
  • Partial flexible work-from-home options available.
