What is the OutSystems Community Referral Program?
The OutSystems Referral Program is designed to expand and strengthen the OutSystems community by encouraging current members to refer new users to the platform.
Who is eligible to participate in the program?
All community members with an OutSystems account for at least 6 months can be part of the referral program and are eligible to refer new members.
How can I participate in the program?
To refer new members to the community, you will have to access the “Referrals” menu that you will find available on the dropdown list when you click on your profile picture or through the settings page. There will be a button “Add new referral”. All community members referring someone to the OutSystems community will have a unique invite link and a unique code to share with new users.
Can current OutSystems community members be referred?
We are only considering users that do not have a current OutSystems community profile. If you invite members that already have an OutSystems account, they will not be considered a referral and the invite will not be sent or considered valid.
How is the referral processed?
When the new user gets the invite link, they will have to access it and add their referral unique code on the referral landing page to create their new OutSystems community account. All invites are valid for 30 days. The new user invited will only be considered an “Accepted Referral” if they use the exact same email during the account creation as they used when accepting the OutSystems communications in the landing page.
Do I have unlimited referrals?
No, every community member can only refer 10 new users per calendar year.
Can new members refer new users?
No, you will need to have your OutSystems community account for at least 6 months to be eligible to refer new users.
What are the rewards provided for community members referring new users?
There will be tiers of rewards given to people who refer new members to join based on the amount of people they refer:
- One new person - a badge on the profile
- Up to 3 people (reward given when 3rd referral accepts) - $15 Amazon voucher
- Up to 5 people (reward given when 5th referral accepts) - free certification voucher
- Up to 10 people (reward given when 10th referral accepts) - free ticket to

What are the rewards provided for new users joining the community?
There will be tiers of rewards given to new users joining the community based on their completed milestones in their OutSystems journey:
- After completing their community profile to 100% and subscribing to the developer newsletter - 50% discounted certification voucher
- After creating their first app on their OutSystems Personal Environment - $10 Amazon voucher
When will I receive my rewards?
All new rewards will only be processed once per week, on every Friday.
