OutSystems promotes 3rd edition of “The Next Step” event
Lisbon, Portugal - 20 February 2006
OutSystems will promote the 3rd edition of The Next Step event on March 16, bringing together the IT and business communities to share their real life experiences using OutSystems Platform.
For this year’s event OutSystems has invited Max Rayner, CIO and Executive Vice President for Products and Services at SurfControl, who has recently received the CIO magazine’s “Ones to Watch” award. Max Rayner will take participants through a fascinating journey of his experiences at SUN and Salesforce.com and the challenges that he is now facing as an IT Executive at SurfControl, as he paddles through a context where he faces engineering skill-mix issues, on-demand vs on-premise and buy vs build decisions.
Paulo Rosado, OutSystems CEO, will rationalize on how the industry context and the OutSystems vision are shaping the product roadmap and positioning of OutSystems. In his talk, Mr. Rosado will announce the upcoming support of Java and Linux, and looks under the veil into the features of a dramatic new service release scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2006.
