OutSystems Named a 2008 Jolt Awards Finalist
San Ramon, CA - 27 December 2007
OutSystems, the agile enterprise software company, today announced that OutSystems Platform 4.1 is a finalist in the Enterprise Tools category of CMP Technology's prestigious 18th annual Dr. Dobb's Jolt Product Excellence Awards. According to CMP Technology, a Jolt Award is the "Oscar of our industry" because they recognize the most innovative, trend-making, ahead-of-the-curve products available today.
For the past 17 years, CMP's Jolt Product Excellence Awards have been presented annually to products that have jolted the industry with their significance and made the task of creating software faster, easier, and more efficient. The Jolt Award winners are chosen by a team of esteemed editors, columnists, and industry gurus. Jolt Cola, the fabled soft drink quaffed by software developers for sustenance during project development marathons, sponsors the awards presentation.
"Being recognized as a finalist by the CMP Technology's Dr. Dobb’s Jolt Product Excellence Awards is a reflection of the unique and breakthrough nature of OutSystems Platform v4.1,” said Paulo Rosado, CEO, OutSystems. “We are committed to helping the enterprise deliver web business solutions in weeks, instead of months or years, and we are excited that the Jolt judges agree with us."
The awards ceremony will take place on March 5, 2008 during the 21st Software Development Conference & Expo West (SD West 2008) at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
