OutSystems boosts Business Application Management with the newly released OutSystems Platform 4.1

OutSystems announces the general availability of OutSystems Platform 4.1, with improved user experience and new management capabilities that further enhance IT Manager’s control over the applications’ ecosystem. OutSystems Platform 4.1 is now available in the Professional and the Enterprise editions.
Following the recent announcement of the OutSystems Express Edition, the free lightweight version of OutSystems Platform, the company continues to innovate the way enterprises approach application management and development.
Built upon the same fast development capabilities, the Professional and the Enterprise editions provide advanced IT Management features while guaranteeing scalability, performance and availability, especially valuable to medium to large enterprise environments.

Among the new management features is OutSystems Platform’s Selective Deployment, which allows IT Managers to increase security and control over all applications. On the application development side, OutSystems Platform now simplifies even further business User Management and Single Sign-on processes over multiple business applications.
To further accelerate the application delivery process, OutSystems Platform 4.1 underwent extensive usability testing. As a result, most common operations are now completely automated or at the distance of a click.
Adding to this, all Platform components are now leaner and faster with overall performance gains of 30% on the most common operations.
