Lisbon, Portugal - 01 April 2005
OutSystems has been selected as one of the finalists for the Red Herring 100 Europe award program, from among over 800 candidates.
The Red Herring 100 Europe Awards aim to distinguish the most promising privately held companies all over Europe, and in this year’s edition counted with over 800 submissions.
According to Joel Dreyfuss, Editor-in-Chief of Red Herring, “the quantity and depth of submissions for the list of Red Herring 100 Europe show that imagination and creativity are alive and well in the global world of technology”.
OutSystems had already been identified in 2003 by Fortune magazine as one of the 6 most promising start-ups worldwide, and in 2004 was selected by the MIT Sloan School of Management for a research project regarding the North-American IT market and the company’s innovative technology.
