OutSystems Announces New Agility Award Winners

Government and Public Sector Companies Recognized for Driving Business Innovation and Agility

This quarter’s winners show that agile practices are key to delivering innovative business applications that meet the business need in both private and public sector organizations. Adopting agile approaches to application delivery has always been a challenge and it is obvious that the Agile Platform’s support for rapid change is making agile adoption a reality across a wide variety of organizations.

Agility Award

OutSystems, provider of the industry-leading Agile Platform application development environment, announced today three new winning projects for the OutSystems Agility Award recognizing accomplishments for projects that were delivered following an Agile process and exhibited real business benefit.

This quarter’s winning organizations represented companies working to drive innovation and business agility through improved IT processes.

The three winning companies were Direcção Geral das Autarquias Locais (DGAL), Autoridade da Concorrência and Palexpo.

The Agility Award program was launched at the end of May 2009. The awards are submission-based and recognize teams and organizations who have fully embraced Agile methodologies and iterative, user-oriented development to deliver application projects on time, on budget and with 100 percent user adoption.
