Behind the OutSystems Customer Success Team

I joined OutSystems in May 2020 as Customer Success Manager focused on ANZ, and then I went on maternity leave for my 2nd child. I came back in January 2021 to lead the SEA Customer Success team.

My onboarding was smack in the middle of the COVID-19 lockdown, so it was fully remote. The different teams like solution architects, technical success, sales, support and my customer success colleagues were all very helpful and approachable. That made it a lot easier than I had expected to get to know the OutSystems organization. I like the autonomy I get in my role to organize and execute things the way I want, of course there are alignments and reporting cadences, but a lot is still open for me to shape.

A very different aspect is the flexibility and relationship with the team to help each other in work related as well as personal situations. When I suddenly needed to take my son to the hospital because he broke his elbow, there was a lot of support from my manager and team to make sure I could focus on my family and not worry about work.
