This extension makes use of a collection of popular tools found online that tries to decrease the size of images of the following types: .png, .jpg, .bmp, .gif, .pnm .tiff, .tga and .pcx. For that, there's a convenient action called Optimize that runs losslessly or if you prefer a particular tool, an action for each is available: JpegOptim, OptiPng, PngNq, PngQuant or PngOut.

Notes:

• An exception is returned if the action can't process a specific file type or if there's a problem associated with the optimization;
• PngOut tends to be very slow, making it a better candidate to be used in a process or timer.
