The installation manual may be >> downloaded here <<.

SyncADAuthProvider extends AD Authentication with enhanced features intended to manage IT Users access and permissions to platform tools (Service Studio, Service Center, Integration Studio and Lifetime).

This plugin, besides doing credential validation to authenticate the user, also creates/updates users in the OutSystems platform user and configures Lifetime roles based on existing AD groups. The automatic synchronization process takes place during users log in, ensuring users will always have their roles up-to-date.

What’s new (3.0.1)
  • Replacement of a SOAP service to expose the configuration details by a more secure REST one
  • Added the ability to cache the integration with AD to, in situations where that takes a lot of time, the user can decide to cache the integration points for a period of time.
  • added the dependency to Crypto API

Important - New configurations needed:

  • Once we've added a new REST Service, in each environment you need to configure the endpoint to be the lifetime one.
  • Site Properties:
    • IsToUseCache - to fill in in case you decide to make use of cache.
    • Token - advisable to be changed as well, make it your own token.
